Thanks for the link Cathy! I saw you the other day outside the Bacon take-down, but you disappeared before I could say hi. We were one of the many that got turned away and had to live vicariously through your coverage.

Yes, I know that vegetables are healthier than meat but aside from the salmon, there was no meat on your list. It all looks yummy, but what about the healthy and delicious proteins that come animals?

Yum! Healthy food is definitely my food porn 🙂 Look at that farro! One of my favorite things in the world. And the chickpea hummus patties? Can’t wait to make those.

I’m in need of the chickpea and couscous patty recipe. Is there a link? (Clicking on the pic doesn’t work and the text isn’t linked.)

*blush* Thanks for the nod, Cathy! I feel like a scrappy rookie in a dugout full of heavy hitters. And I get such a gross-out kick out of This Is Why You’re Fat. It’s the drug-free appetite suppressant for the new millennium!

I don’t think I ever really liked asparagus until I made this last night.

Love the pics, but is it really necessary to make fun of those with a little extra poundage? How about “This is why you’re not unhealthy”…..or “This is why you’re an elitist”?

[…] Now, I always cook at home, for many of the reasons Cathy does. But if you still don’t brown-bag your lunch or you get restaurant food most nights of this week, I am sure this book will inspire you to get to know your stove. (On her blog each month she lists a reason for not eating out; check those out if you still don’t believe me that it’s worth it. I love the food porn of #30: This Is Why You’re Not Fat.) […]
