Thanks for the link Cathy! I saw you the other day outside the Bacon take-down, but you disappeared before I could say hi. We were one of the many that got turned away and had to live vicariously through your coverage.

Thanks for featuring my chocolate-cherry whole wheat scones! The other recipes look so fabulous. This was a great idea for a blog entry. This will be recipes for months of exploring. I’m definitely going to bookmark this post.

Yes, I know that vegetables are healthier than meat but aside from the salmon, there was no meat on your list. It all looks yummy, but what about the healthy and delicious proteins that come animals?

Love the pics, but is it really necessary to make fun of those with a little extra poundage? How about “This is why you’re not unhealthy”…..or “This is why you’re an elitist”?

[...] Now, I always cook at home, for many of the reasons Cathy does. But if you still don’t brown-bag your lunch or you get restaurant food most nights of this week, I am sure this book will inspire you to get to know your stove. (On her blog each month she lists a reason for not eating out; check those out if you still don’t believe me that it’s worth it. I love the food porn of #30: This Is Why You’re Not Fat.) [...]
