Serious Eats gets in a Pickle

I’m inspired! But I can’t seem to find Mason jars – apparently they’re not “seasonal.” Would another container work as well?

Hm, what about household or kitchen stuff stores? I think you need mason jars to pickle because they have a special lid that sucks in for a tight seal that’s activated by heat…
