Oh, so La-dee-da! What an inspired way to introduce this wonderful, health-giving Korean speciality, full of rich Eastern flavours but especially the intoxicating umame, to conservative Western tastes. Clean, polished plates to the dish-washer. But shhh, and I'll add a little more Kim chee to the mix next time!

Love this! Thank you. I recently discovered kimchee during a trip to Hawaii. I had kimchee fried-rice and it was love at first bite. If you find any good kimchee fried-rice recipes could you try them out?
I'm new to your blog and am loving it. Keep it up.

What you're making would be called a pa-chon or pa-jon in Korean...like a egg pancake. The goat cheese...oh man. That's whack.

kimchi+goat cheese-->frittata...I am simultaneously delighted, amazed and horrified. Not horrified because some silly cultural boundary is being crossed, but it just would never have occurred to me and it sounds pretty genius. But I also think butter and asian sticky rice is morally wrong, so what am I saying.

I am so intrigued! Gotta try this combo some time. Sad to admit that I've never made a frittata before, although I have done quiche!

I've never tried kimchee. I love frittatas and agree with you that they are much easier to make than omelettes. I think they taste just as good too.

Found this recipe tonight and didn't have all the ingredients at home to make it exactly... so I substituted kimchee for tomatoes and goat cheese for feta. I still followed the rest of your directions and it turned out wonderful! Looking forward to making the [real] recipe soon. :)

Great blog!

Great take on a classic dish! I've been the frittata guy on many beach house adventures over the years. Highly anticipate making this and sharing it with my spice loving friends. Will be nice alternative to their ongoing rooster sauce, tabasco, etc. hot sauce soaked adventures.
