i made this and the butternut squash soup last night and they were both perfect! the gnocchis were labor intensive (i made too many) but it was worth it, they came out fluffy and tasty! thank you your recipies, they are very inspiring!

I'm somewhat late to the party having just discovered your blog via an article in South Orange Patch. This recipe sounds fantastic and I can't wait to give it a try. Thanks!

This looks beautiful and tasty. Would it be an awful bastardization of the recipe if I tried it with butternut squash, kale, and walnuts? Does this miss the whole point? They're the closest things I have to the ingredients and I was looking for something new and interesting to do with them. I should mention I've only recently graduated from idiot-novice to marginally-competent cook. Oh, and as a longtime lurker, I also wanted to say that you've got a great site!

That's funny--sweet potatoes, arugula, gnocchi, and hazelnuts actually are my favorite type of potato, green, pasta, and nut!

I like the recipe, and I know you were doing a NON EGG pasta, but a yolk or 2 holds this together in a better shape and will not really add much density.

I have only made homemade gnocchi once, with questionable results, but this sounds like a recipe that could entice me to try again. And congrats on your profile on food52! Glad others are discovering the gem that I have been following for awhile!
