Hi,

I stumbled upon your blog and love it....
Being European I am pretty much surprised how few people bring their own lunch to work or school; I love taking my own food... why pay 8 dollar for a so-called "deli salad" when I can have my own.

I will definitely look out for Spanish mackerel, this recipe looks gorgeous.

Looking forward to more fun recipes !

This was delicious and my husband and I want to say thanks! We don't normally enjoy fish that much, but wanted to give it another chance. This was the ticket for sure. This has been added to our Fave menu!

We paired it with a semi-dry white wine (click on my name for the review site we got the wine from - not a bad site at all). We recommend oil AND butter.

Thanks so much!
Cheers!

Yowza! Cathy, I can't even put into words how delicious this is. I'm not sure who's taken over my taste buds, because I would have easily dismissed the idea of steamed/baked fish a few years ago.

I actually just made this, with skate, on a late night, no sleep run after the day at the soup kitchen, as we talked about. I actually added browned butter, and a few capers, but I don't really know if they did much. But the simplicity of flavors is delicious! Seriously, thanks. Fear I had of skate (and other fish) has majorly subsided!
