Wow, that sounds like more than eight servings to me. That is a lot of ingredients. I will have to try a scaled down version for just two.

I am wondering how this would work using a vegetarian chorizo in addition to the chicken. Just to make it a little healthier. Has anyone tried it?

I made a variation of this last night with plenty of farmers’ market fresh vegetables and ground free range turkey. Very tasty.

I am a Texas girl and make a mean chili myself and I LOVE the sound of this one! You get my vote for best chili. These Northerners don’t know what they are missing, not knowing about hominy.
